Summer of Groupon | Big Bus Tour

This post brought to you by Summer of Groupon. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was born and raised in Vegas and can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been down to the famous Las Vegas strip in the past 15 years. It's usually a pain to even drive down there with all of the traffic. And it's pretty sad, because there are some beautiful casinos to look at, so many restaurants we need to try and some fantastic shows and shopping too.

When I discovered Big Bus Tours on Groupon, I figured it was finally time to go check out what I've been missing for all these years.

WHAT I LIKED:
• You don't have to drive. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the views (and some people watching too. There are some interesting characters out there.)
• You can get on or off at any of the stops. A new bus will be back by about 30 minutes later so you can go do some exploring.
• There are two bus routes you can take... one to downtown and one to the strip. We took the strip route this time.
• Even if you live in Vegas, you will learn a lot on this tour. Our tour guide, Suzy, knew her stuff. Both her and our driver, Daniel, made our trip very enjoyable.
• Your kids will have fun on this tour too. And your 8 year old will probably thank you when he finally gets to see the Sphinx on the front side of the Luxor.

WHAT I RECOMMEND:
• Take the first bus that leaves from the Circus Circus at 10:00 am. There was only one other person on our bus, so we got to sit up top, under the canopy. It was 104 degrees that day, but in the shade and with the breeze, it's not that bad.
• Stay on for the full route so you can just enjoy the ride and see where everything is. Then, take the route again and get off to do some exploring.
• There is so much to do at each of the stops. And there are other Groupon deals that would come in handy too. Like the National Atomic Testing MuseumThe High Roller at the LINQ, the Interactive Sports Exhibit or lunch at Johnny Rockets right inside of Bally's.
• Bring along some bottled water!! And, of course, your camera too!!
