Painted Pumpkin Fall Table Setting

Our table doesn't get set a whole lot around here, but Thanksgiving is a special day so it deserves a little extra attention. We've put together some simple ideas that will look great on your table and the best part is... they won't break the bank.

Once you've taken a look at our Table Setting, take a few minutes and visit some of our friends and see their pretty tables too! We promise... you won't be sorry!

Place Setting Supplies:
- plastic pumpkins
- paint, we used Martha Stewart Antique Sky Chalk Paint
- knobs
- E6000 Glue
- twine or embroidery floss
- cardstock
- ribbon
- paper doily

Steps:
- remove the stems off of your pumpkins
- paint your pumpkins (we applied three coats, waiting 2 hours in between each coat)
- once your paint is dry, use the glue to attach a knob to the top center of the pumpkins
- print the names of your guest onto cardstock. Then trim, punch a hole and attach the names to the pumpkins with twine

We love white plates. They go with everything and can be used for every holiday and event. So to put our Thanksgiving Table Settings together we took a white plate and dressed it up with a paper doily. Then we cut a strip of ribbon about the same length as the width of the plate and notched the edges. Center the ribbon on your plate and then top with your pumpkin. So simple, but so pretty.

For the centerpiece, we gathered all of our random glass jars we have sitting around. We have some mason jars, pickle jars and even some peanut butter jars, I believe. Add a candle to each jar and you are done. For very little money you get a very big effect.

Now we have 24 more fabulous table settings / tablescapes to share with you. There are so many fantastic ideas being shared by these talented bloggers, you'll want to visit each one and get a closer look.
