We are excited for the opportunity to help spread the word about the Walmart Foundation's Fighting Hunger Together initiative.

More than 50 Million Americans don't know where their next meal will come from and sadly springtime traditionally brings a decrease in food and charitable donations to food banks around the country. 

To help bridge the Spring hunger gap, Walmart is working with Feeding America and four of the most recognizable food brands in America...

ConAgra

General Mills

Kraft

and Kellogg's

in a nationwide Fighting Hunger Together initiative from Monday, April 9 through April 30.

We can all join the fight against hunger in-store or through Facebook.

Between April 9th and April 30th Walmart will be hosting a Facebook campaign where fans can rally support for communities in need of hunger relief.

(You can vote among 200 communities with the highest unemployment rate as determined by a Department of Labor Report.)

Walmart will donate a total of $2 million dollars to the 21 communities receiving the most support!

$1 million to the winner

and $50,000 each to the 20 runners-up.

(Winning communities will be announced May 1st)

The Fighting Hunger Together initiative is expected to generate 43 million meals for families in need. 

We think that is awesome!!

So don't forget to Vote to fight spring hunger with Walmart!! and help spread the word!

 With our own city being one of the top 15 on the list we will be voting for Las Vegas. What an amazing gift it would be for the city we love to receive a million dollars to help fight hunger!

Between April 9 and April 30 look for signage and packaging to make a purchase in Walmart stores to help make a difference! By purchasing select products from ConAgra, General Mills, Kraft and Kellogg's, we can donate meals to Feeding America or Action for Healthy Kids, a nonprofit fighting childhood hunger.
