TyeDye

Yesterday I tye dyed all day, helping out my sister for her textiles proj except I got distracted and started making my own things. I made this pillow case yesterday using a red dye, but I obviously didn't use enough as it turned out a hot pink which I actually prefer to be honest. I made it using a saucepan of the salted dye and tying rubber bands round all the sections I wanted to remain white, I dunked the material for an hour. This side of the pillow has a stronger pattern

This has more of a faded pattern but more white 

As you can see this side is smooth and soft,, though slightly crinkled!

This side had dye remnents and was slightly rough, so I'll need to wash it using fabric softener or something because it is definitely not comfortable to sleep on
